INSOMNIACS
Paintings-tools that are meant to accompany those who suffer from insomnia at night. Made from airplane tape
Juana de Aizpuru Gallery
Framis has created a series of 25 ‘paintings-tools’ to accompany people who suffer from insomnia at night. They are made from fluorescent tape that is used in airplanes to show the way to the emergency doors in the dark. These works revolve around the theme of insomnia that many people frequently suffer from because of the anguish caused by the pandemic or because of the times of global uncertainty that we are experiencing.
