A 12-meter aluminum slide in the main stairs of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam created the opportunity to leave the museum as quickly as possible. This action was Framis’s reaction to the invitation to take part in ‘Peiling 5/Sounding 5,’ an exhibition that presented a survey of the best artists of the year. For Framis the most important art happens outside on the streets; the museum is a safe, controlled place. Because life continues outside the museum, Framis offered all the visitors the opportunity to leave the museum as quickly as possible to reach life and art outside.
